….so far it’s one of my best weddings of 2014.
It’s so cliché to say the bride looks stunning and the décor was perfect, but the bride looked absolutely stunning -No really I mean that- check out the photo's if you dont believe me. What made this wedding so special is that Kate an Daniel followed their own prescription to create that memorable day that will be with them for the rest of their lives.
So let us start at the venue…
Kate and Daniel couldn’t have made a better choice Nunda Lodge, is a beautiful game lodge on the outskirts of Alexandria and if the guests stay over it is such a good reason not to cut the party short.
The Ceremony... Outside ceremonies is the current trend. (Just ensure that you have a contingency plan if Mother Nature turns on you) White draped chairs & gazebo were set and decorated with peacock feathers, mountains in the back and a blue sky. The weather was perfect with a light cool breeze. They couldn’t have ordered a more perfect setting and day.
The fact that the bride and groom got dressed at the venue took so much stress off everyone. The rooms are beautiful and this gave me so much to work with (more advice... A definate problem with planning a wedding is the part where the bride and groom will get dressed. Disorganisation at the start of the day will only build up a to domino effect that will influence the rest of the wedding.) Kate was very excited and the butterflies were definately arround the closer we came to the wedding ceremony. She looked so so good and I specifically love the black and white photos of her getting ready.
Daniel got dressed in a flash and there was no messing around. The mates were a bit camera shy so Dan took out his dad's golf clubs and they took a few swings. If you ask me it was also the nerves building up to the ceremony. When the Pastor arrived there were just one or to matters that needed attention and we were set to go.

Here comes the bride... Dan was knoked off his feet by his gorgeous bride. Just before she walked down the isle the wind blew her veil off and after a quick reset she walked into Dan's arms to declare her love in fromt of God and all present. One could see the joy in Dan's face and he was clearly satisfied with the way things were going. I think the photo's tell the story much better... enjoy.
Part 2 coming soon...
